MoveOn.Org Up To Its Old Tricks Again

MoveOn.org has stuck its foot in its mouth again with its latest ad attacking Senator Elizabeth Dole. The left wing organization claims that Senator Dole is in the pocket of “big oil.” It fails to mention, however, that the husband of Kay Hagan (Dole’s opponent) owns oil and gas drilling wells in at least five states. Due to this developement we assume MoveOn.org will have to run an ad attacking Kay Hagan for her close relationship to “big oil.”

This ad draws attention, however, to the differences between Dole and Hagan on the energy issue. Senator Dole is proposing a comprehensive energy plan that will provide short term relief to the American people by increasing domestic oil supply and long term relief by lessening America’s dependence on oil. Senator Dole believes we can accomplish these dual objectives by releasing one-third of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve into the market, expanding oil exploration into untapped areas such as ANWR and the Gulf of Mexico, and increasing the use of alternative energy sources through technological innovation.

Kay Hagan’s energy plan is not comprehensive. It does not provide help to the American people  by increasing the domestic oil supply, which is vital to our economic security and our national security. If the issue of energy is a big concern for you and your family you should definitely vote for Senator Dole. There is no doubt that she will pursue all options in order to resolve the energy crisis America is facing.

Moveon.org needs to move on. You are not welcome in North Carolina. Spew your lies and hate elsewhere.

The only thing comprehensive about Kay Hagan is her ability to write a state budget which keeps taking more money out of my pocket. Nothing but a shill for Tax Hike Mike.
